I love this game, basically finished it with having all of Lisa's scenes and my goodness, she's hell of a gal! The minigame button mashing isn't that bad as others point it out to be. It means they're not much of a gamer heh.
Looking forward to the official release and added content!
I loved the system demo and I'm even more in love with the Lisa demo! I'm beyond excited for the final product!
While I had a little easier time with the romance scenes than some of the other commenters (having played both demos I got quite a bit of practice) I will say that I do believe the timing window for a "perfect thrust" to be fairly narrow, and very difficult to keep a combo going at full speed. Perhaps you would consider a difficulty slider that adjusts the timing window? That might alleviate some frustration.
I gave up early on in the game; the minigame was simply impossible. Even with the perfect timing and the speed-up technique, it kept stuck at a certain point. So I gave up and uninstalled the game. I hope the developer makes the minigame easier, as many people give up before even getting to see the content.
Yeah, the main thing to change when I get the chance for the next update will be to teach the mechanics better and make the early game easyer.
I made a poll on the discord and 22% had trouble with the tutorial which is obvously too much.
Until then, you might enjoy the Commissions Launcher, which has autoplay available from the start and lets you view more content without needing to clear anything.
I completely agree, I'm well aware I will never be able to please a woman in real life, but to not even be able to please a woman in a game, now that is a whole new level of depressing.
When I try to run this through the itch app, it just opens the folder containing the executable. Seems like it "runs" a shortcut to the directory instead? Also, I'd like to know-- What exactly is it in this game that requires permission to make changes to my computer? Is it adding the custom font?
I personally would like it if the beginning choices said under them what they were for stat wise. Just so if you already had either played the demo or actual game when it comes out, that you can more easily focus on a build you had in mind. Otherwise, this game I am actually very looking forward to. It's that right amount of cute wholesome moments and sexy ones. Good luck on making this game, I would help if I could but due to not knowing jackshit about coding, I probably would make this game even longer to develop.
Guys I need help, might be a skill issue tho. The *bedroom* minigame is so hard. I feel like I'm getting the timing perfect but i'm just not filling the bar up fast enough and I keep losing all stamina. Any tips?
Conveying the mechanics better and an easyer start are definetly the first things I'll focus on for the next update.
Based on your description sounds like you might need to speed up. (Tap early a couple of times, then get back to tapping "on time" at this faster rythm.)
Right now there is no full game to purchase, but you can always support the Patreon for 1usd. There is an art gallery there and you get game stuff early.
Unfortunetly, translation would be a lot harder than throwing into a translator. I made a custom 8 pixel tall font for the game in order to fit the text, and there is no Chinese font that small, because the letters are more complex.
I see no link back to an online presence for the creator(s) of the game. Right now that is very important to establish confidence and a will to support a project.
If the art is hand made I'd be happy to talk shop with the artist on Discord.
The division seems to be between people who get the mechanics right away and those who just don't get it ever. It's on me go get the % on the first group higher.
As many have said, the sex mini game suffers from the fact the same button is used for speed and action.
If the minigame is supposed to be a rhythm game, missing the cue, by being too early or too late shouldn't change the pace of it. It makes no sense. Also if you don't click for a cycle or click way too late, the pace stops completely. Which kind of Rhythm game stops providing cues if the player misses one? Imagine playing Guitar Hero and if you miss a note the music stops.
The miniame needs to be reworked, again, as many have said. The oral sex is kinda ok, with holding the button longer as the pace picks up and her bar fills up.
It's cool to say it's not intuitive or well-explained enough, but criticism that says it should be a shallow follow-the-rythm game or a menu with dials is disappointing to read.
The game is about setting a pace, not following it. If you press fast, she will adjust to you. It's expected that you be awkward at first and take a while to get a tactile feel for it. That's why the tutorial is your character's first time.
Not knowing what you're doing at first -> getting an intuitive feel for it, as opposed to getting it intellectually -> gradually gaining confidence. That's the experience I want to convey. It's harder to pull off, but I'd rather do a flawed job of that than settle for the nominal gameplay common of the genre.
If the game is about "setting the pace" then cut the prompt bs with "clapping" sounds and glowing dicks.
You either have a game where the player sets the pace, or a prompt/cue following one. You are trying to do both which do not work.
Listen to what most people are telling you. I literally created this itch.io just so I could comment, not because I'm a hater,or hated the game, but because I saw potential in it, and was sad you work will go down the drain because of the awful sex mechanics.
I understand that as creator you have a vision that to you makes sense. But you're too close to it, to see its flaws. My suggestion, make changes to the minigame and A/B test it. See what people actually prefer and feel it fits better to the game you're trying to make.
This has definetly been a common comment in this new release, but it's not "most people". The game has a 4.5/5 rating so assume most people don't want it fundamentally changed. I've also had a Discord for a year to talk to players so most feedback comes from there.
Of course that is a smaller, more engaged group, so entry barriers aren't going to be as big a deal for them. The game has to be more accessible to keep growing. But I won't do it by throwing away what the core group likes about it.
It's going to be tricky. People seem to either get the idea of setting a rythm then keeping it intutively and right away or to never get it at all and find it absurd in a conceptual level ^_^'
I'm not a game developer or even that smart so feel free to disregard my idiotic ideas, but the best compromise I can think of is to make two difficulty settings, normal mode for the masochists and easy mode for us casual shitters, I personally think that would satisfy a lot of people.
I might eventually do some kind of semi-automatic mode for people who just want the story, at that point how well you do would be basically up to stats. The barrier for that is just being a single dev, where making/ballancing/testing 2 versions of everything bogs things down a lot.
I could make an easy mode by just upping all your stats, but that won't be enough for the people who couldn't get past the tutorial. The game still has to also convey how it works better.
But yeah, one of the two would probably be good to have.
What I suggested wouldn't change the core of the game. It would still be about setting the pace, just without the prompt. The issue is that setting the pace, and having a prompt are diametrically opposites.
I think your vision would be better implemented if instead of a prompt, you had a optimal pace range. With at the start having the player press Z every 3-5 seconds, and the further it goes more frequently. Which is pretty much how it works already, but without the prompt. Also it would be less mechanical, as instead of a glowing dick, the player can pay attention for what the partner is saying, "Faster", "Slow down", etc. And with different partners having different optimal paces.
Lastly, you keep saying people don't get the mini game, to everyone that complains about it, but that's not true. I did get it. I was able to play the demo. That doesn't mean the minigame is good. It's not about difficulty. No one thinks Dark Souls is a bad game for being difficult. What people are saying it's a bad mechanic. And of course the people in your discord, who have played the most, are more accustomed to it.
Having an easy or storymode doesn't fix the issue.
I understand you probably wanted to make it a little challenging but there is a clear difference between a little challenging and physically impossible, because even when I hit the key with perfect timing her orgasm bar drops faster than my dad leaving to get milk.
Really good, I like the challenge. It gives me Rhythm Heaven and Punch-Out vibes. And hey, my favorite movie, The Terminator, is in there... well, the Annihilator, haha. And no man, the sequel actually makes total sense story wise!
Awesome game with good art and a creative UI. You can tell some effort has been put into this and actual consideration was given to the gameplay design. I played the "new demo". Felt a bit weird needing an installer to play it though, is there a way to export it as a zip?
very minor thing: I did find a typo that said "ammount" instead of "amount" when going to the college after the first meeting and clicking a classroom
Love the style and feel of this game, but instantly turned off by the sex minigame. having one key to control both tempo and the timing is just bad, especially with how tight the timings seem to be, at least in my opinion. also seems far to drawn out, how much of my time is going to be spent just pressing one key over and over again? Hope its reworked in some way or hell, add an auto-mode for those who just don't feel like it. Can't even comment on the rest of the game right now as I simply don't feel like sitting on the tutorial for 20 minutes, pressing z ad nauseum. Again, love the look and it has the feeling that there is great potential.
As a side-note, the tutorial states to press z 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 you hear the clap, or see the light up. but if you do this, you will always be too late. you really have to be doing it just before-hand, as we as humans are unfortunately not one with the machine and having 0ms response times, yet. I'm all for difficulty in my games, but the tutorial has a rather steep learning curve that is lacking in teaching you what you're doing right, and what you're doing wrong. I do think having the speed controlled in a separate way would go a long way in improving the gameplay also.
The tutorial should take a couple of minutes max, so I've clearly not made it clear enough for everyone to get it. Tank you for the feedback.
I recomend the Commissions launcer, since that has the automatic "watch" mode available from the start, where you choose speed and actions in a menu style,
In this version you have to clear the skill based game of an act to unlock the watch version.
If you try again: The disconect seems to come from you trying to react to the clap, you're just supposed to press in rhythm to the animation, like a Rhythm Heaven game.
Hey, so this is really confusing for me. Since this is a demo. How do I get the full game or the closest to the full game? I could only see the commission launcher which is just has the description that its an arcade version and seems doesn't include story. Is the Patreon the way to get it or is the demo the closest we have to the full game right now?
Hi. The game is not finished, I call this a demo because it is restricted to the early game, I feel calling it an alpha or early access would imply that it features the full game, just in an unfinished state. Those terms would also make it seem like the full game will be in this page later, which unfortunately will not be possible as long as itch doesn't allow any monetization on NSFW games.
The Patreon gets updates a while before I post them to Itch, but it doesnt have an early access game or anything.
Sorry if the naming is confusing. Let me know if you think there are terms I could include to avoid this confusion.
I feel like "prologue", or something along those lines could work well, and possibly as well as saying "the first month" you could say its the start of the game in the description. Though I'm only really saying this as an alternative to demo, because demo does work well for this version.
I loved the demo you put out before and look forward to trying this one, you've done an awesome job! Keep up the amazing work :P
The demo is very well done, playable and even fun (which is weird in a game of this category). The art is amazing. It´s impressive for a demo. However, after 2 days of use, Avast AV detected an IDP.Generic As far as I´m aware, it can be common ocurrence within these games, so for the time being this seems fine, just a heads up if someone downloads it and suddenly can´t seem to find it after a day or two. It was weird. Great job again, though.
Hi, glad you like it. Yeah, I'm trying to bring deeper gameplay than is usual for the genre.
Yeah, unfortunetly games can get false positives from antiviruses when they are not sent to a verification firm to be placed on a "safe list". Thankfully these are rare, because there is no way I could pay for that for every demo/early access release.
I like the difficulty this game presents, the " reward different builds and playstyles." is pretty true. The first and the second girl was the easiest (i achieved orgasm on the second girl's foreplay easily). The third one was pretty tough, i had to restart a couple of times to get the ending. I still haven't finished the last girl. Somehow her love meter is so hard to max out.
Very nice game! You've got great art and animations, making the characters feel more alive than in some other games.
A few miscellaneous observations:
I struggle with timing during the sex game, with a difficult time maintaining a higher pace and trying to match the beat. I'd often face a major loss of speed, and oftentimes I defaulted to focusing solely on pace.
With a will of 70 or so, I couldn't get the player to cum during sex if I wanted to. Which is unintuitive?
The first time I opened the game, it rendered as a tiny window of the game that I couldn't fully interact with. It opened in fullscreen the second time.
The Charisma stat description mentions it helps with sweet or dirty talk. Does that apply to other actions during sex?
Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you liked it.
Responding to the observations:
-The mechanics you describe are intentional, input is always welcome in grading the difficulty, though.
-Common problem I hadn't yet chosen a solution for as of this demo. Will raises your resistance, but that can be bad in excess if the partner is low level. I implemented a button to lower it at will that will be in future releases
-Also fixed and will not be present in future releases, but for this one Alt+Enter does fix it.
-Yes, most actions have some boost from CHA, but talk ones are affected most.
PS:Many of the game systems have been rebuilt in a more iterable way since this demo, which is why I can't bring future fixes back to it.
You can just unclick the button of the screen you have open. The build I have right now also has a more obvious "BACK" button so this lack of clarity will be adressed in future releases.
At this point I'm doing character commissions to fund development, this means the final game will take longer but more of these short form stories will be made available for free in the meantime.

Yeah, I'm working on making it more accessible for the inflow of new players.
The visuals/sound might also imply that perfects are more important than they are. It's not that big of a multiplier.

The game does have a custom font, but I only get the "changes to your computer" warning if I go through the Itch app.
I recommend downloading it from a browser.

Trust me dude, you are not alone, I gave up on this game because of that shit, I am going to wait until the game gets improved before I try again.

Great game, could you provide a Chinese localization? AI translation is fine QWQ

Love the game! The art style is beautiful and I found the sex minigame really lovely! I liked the rhytm you have to put on it. Keep up with your work!
Thanks ^_^
kinda hard but good work, i'll wait for the next
Thanks ^_^
I'll definetly work on a deeper tutorial and easyer start in the future.
I got so focused on the decrypting mini game, when i finally reached the final part, it stops. i forgot this was a demo. welp, time to wait.
Hehe, yeah...
Congrats of finishing all of them, though. Most people found the later ones too hard.
I really enjoy and love your game, please do not listen to the other comment and keep up with your work
Thanks ^_^

I want to enjoy this game, I really do, but I am at serious risk of getting an aneurism from this GOD AWFUL SEX MINIGAME.
I understand you probably wanted to make it a little challenging but there is a clear difference between a little challenging and physically impossible, because even when I hit the key with perfect timing her orgasm bar drops faster than my dad leaving to get milk.
I FUCKING GIVE UP 6 ATTEMPTS IS ALL I CAN HANDLE BEFORE WANTING TO SHOVE MY HEAD INTO A WOODCHIPPER
what the fuck is this piece of shit?
Really good, I like the challenge. It gives me Rhythm Heaven and Punch-Out vibes. And hey, my favorite movie, The Terminator, is in there... well, the Annihilator, haha. And no man, the sequel actually makes total sense story wise!
Thanks. Glad you like it.
The world needs more games like yours… and cool gifs like that. (Preferably before AI judgment day 😅)
Awesome game with good art and a creative UI.

False alarms can happen with GameMaker games. Unfortunetly, the 100% fix would be paying to get the exe verified, which is not viable in this case : /
Uploading to itch via Butler seemed to fix it for some builds but apparently not all.

I'm a bit concerned about the tutorial, did you find it clear?
Counter point tho: the decryption puzzle is a nightmare, keep that simple.
Lol, the later levels of that are optional so I allowed myself to get really nerdy.
But noted, thanks : P
Also the tutorial was alright I just had to get used to the controls.
Nice.
Love the style and feel of this game, but instantly turned off by the sex minigame. having one key to control both tempo and the timing is just bad, especially with how tight the timings seem to be, at least in my opinion. also seems far to drawn out, how much of my time is going to be spent just pressing one key over and over again? I recomend the Commissions launcer, since that has the automatic "watch" mode available from the start, where you choose speed and actions in a menu style,
In this version you have to clear the skill based game of an act to unlock the watch version.
If you try again: The disconect seems to come from you trying to react to the clap, you're just supposed to press in rhythm to the animation, like a Rhythm Heaven game.
GOOD

Hey, so this is really confusing for me. Since this is a demo. How do I get the full game or the closest to the full game? Sorry if the naming is confusing. Let me know if you think there are terms I could include to avoid this confusion.
I feel like "prologue", or something along those lines could work well, and possibly as well as saying "the first month" you could say its the start of the game in the description. Though I'm only really saying this as an alternative to demo, because demo does work well for this version.

Glad to see the dificulty curve working as intended, thanks for the feedback.
Very nice game! You've got great art and animations, making the characters feel more alive than in some other games.
A few miscellaneous observations:
Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you liked it.
Responding to the observations:
-The mechanics you describe are intentional, input is always welcome in grading the difficulty, though.
-Common problem I hadn't yet chosen a solution for as of this demo. Will raises your resistance, but that can be bad in excess if the partner is low level. I implemented a button to lower it at will that will be in future releases
-Also fixed and will not be present in future releases, but for this one Alt+Enter does fix it.
-Yes, most actions have some boost from CHA, but talk ones are affected most.
PS:Many of the game systems have been rebuilt in a more iterable way since this demo, which is why I can't bring future fixes back to it.
for some reason wasn't able to go back to menu after going to profile, help, and option. maybe i missed something?
You can just unclick the button of the screen you have open. The build I have right now also has a more obvious "BACK" button so this lack of clarity will be adressed in future releases.
Thanks for the feedback.
I loved playing the demo, When can we expect the full game to be released?
At this point I'm doing character commissions to fund development, this means the final game will take longer but more of these short form stories will be made available for free in the meantime.
My opinion of the update: You are goddamn artist, this this is art mr.GuiRM. Aceptable? You are the goddamm iron chef.
Hope somebody understood the reference.
Is it possible that this game will be available on Steam?
When the final release comes, yes. Though I'll probably have it here first.
I love this game, cant wait to an update! 🔥
Thanks : )
